‘Bill & Ted 3’ Is Coming To Theaters 27 Years After The Sequel

Hollywood is in love with remakes and reboots right now. We have seen it recently with the remake of Overboard, but now they are bringing back the classic Bill and Ted, as the dudes are ready to party on some more! Yes, Bill & Ted 3 is happening and we have the details below!

It has been 27 years since the second film in the science fiction comedy franchise was released, which is crazy to think about! However, Keanu Reeves and Alex Winter will be back for more action, as Entertainment Weekly reported.

The third Bill & Ted movie will be directed by Dean Parisot (Galaxy Quest). Chris Matheson and Ed Solomon have teamed up again to write this third film in the franchise. Ted (Reeves) and Bill (Winter) have yet to fulfill their rock and roll destiny. The best friends are now middle-aged and will set out on a new adventure, as a visitor from the future warns them that only their song can save life as we know it. That must be a good song, huh? They will get some help along the way from their daughters, a few music legends and a new batch of historical figures.

In a statement from Reeves and Winter, they said, “We couldn’t be more excited to get the whole band back together again. Chris and Ed wrote an amazing script, and with Dean at the helm we’ve got a dream team!”

There has been a pretty big name added into the mix for the Bill & Ted family. Steven Soderbergh has been added to the family, as he will serve as an executive producer on the third film. He will work alongside Scott Fischer, John Ryan Jr., John Santilli, and producers Scott Koopf, Alex Lebovici, and Steve Ponce.
