Capone-N-Noreaga

Rating: F

I hate this album and what it stands for. I think what bugs me the most is that thug core free styling is used as a stage costume to disguise over inflated egos.  Many thug style rappers are portraying a dog-eat-dog world that exists in their minds and is manifested by their own irresponsible acts only to be condoned with praise by some lame-ass marketing team. These types of rappers glorify hate and retaliation and use the poverty and suffering of others to portray themselves as some kind of vigilante demi-gods. What is really ironic about this style of music is that it doesn’t help improve the situations for any of the thousands of poverty stricken families throughout America. Rolling Stone and any of the other shitty rags can rave about this CD all they want but I can’t endorse violence and stupidity.
