When it comes to bringing Pikachu to the big screen, who else is better equipped to do it than Ryan Reynolds? If you don't think so, then you have to check out the Detective Pikachu trailer below and I think it will change your mind on things!
Yes, Pokémon is getting it's first-ever live-action movie, as Reynolds is turning in the Deadpool suit and moving into the little yellow body of Pikachu. Detective Pikachu is directed by Rob Letterman (Goosebumps). The movie takes place in Ryme City, a city where humans and Pokémon live side by side. The movie will show as the story of a young man who is in search of his cop father.
Who can help Tim (Justice Smith from Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom) find his dad? Well, that would be none other than his dad's former partner, the legendary Detective Pikachu. Unlike everyone else, Tim can actually understand what Pikachu is saying, which has Pikachu overly excited!
