AMC recently announced that the second season of its apocalyptic hit TV show Fear the Walking Dead will debut on Sunday, April 10, 2016. This means it will show earlier than the first season of The Walking Dead spin-off, which premiered August last year.
Season 2 will have more episodes, therefore an early release is quite understandable. However, this pits the zombie show against Game of Thrones, which is in its sixth season. Going head-to-head with Game of Thrones is surely a bit of a gamble, but because they serve different demographics the risk theoretically should be minimal. Time will tell.
