Kevin Hart and Tiffany Haddish Team Up In 'Night School' Trailer

Kevin Hart and Tiffany Haddish are teaming up for a new comedy from Universal, as they released the first Night School trailer today. I love both of these two, so how could Night School go wrong, right?

In Night School, Hart's character is forced to enroll in high school to get his GED. This is after Hart causes an explosion at his business. Hart attends night school, which happens to be taught by Haddish, who tells the class that she took this gig to "make a little cash so that I can afford this warrant I got."

Haddish is not messing around and holds nothing back. Hart is struggling with the material and despite trying to help him, Hart is still not getting it. This is when Haddish says, "You are clinically dumb."

In the Night School trailer, we also see Taran Killam play the principal, who often tries to "talk black," but then deny that he is doing it. We also see Ben Schwartz, an investment adviser and friends with Hart. He is the one making Hart pass his GED, as he will give him a job once he passes it. Rob Riggle, Mary Lynn Rajskub and Yvonne Orji also star.

Night School is directed by Malcolm D. Lee, who also happened to direct Haddish in Girls Trip. Kevin Hart will produce via his Hartbeat Productions. The screenplay is written by Hart, Harry Ratchford, Joey Wells and Matt Kellard. Check out the Night School trailer here:

Night School will hit theaters on Sept. 28, 2018.
