Not 7 but 8 books?

“George R. R. Martin’s longtime editor is now predicting that there’ll be one more book added to the Song of Ice and Fire saga.”

According to this story by IGN (see the attached video for the full story), George R. R. Martin’s editor Anne Groel is reported as saying:

“There are really technically eight kingdoms, all having to do with who annexed what when Aegon the Conqueror landed in Westeros. So, maybe eight book for Seven Kingdoms.”

The sixth installment titled ‘The Winds of Winter’ is due out soon. Details from Wikipedia can be found by clicking here, but Martin has confirmed these characters will have PoV’s.
