This is a must-see event, especially if you love your Zombie Movies!
Downtown Cheyenne is the place to be, because these guys are hosting their 3rd event and it promises to be even better than the last two. They have some special guests you’ll know from famous zombie movies, special events, and they have some great films for you to watch. Read on for the full details.
On Saturday, September 21st, the undead will once again roam the streets of downtown Cheyenne for the 3rd annual Cheyenne Zombie FEST! (But don’t worry! The zombies are totally harmless. Mostly.)
From 9 a.m. to midnight, it’s all zombies, all the time, from a zombie fashion show, to the zombie film fest, to the beloved “brain”-eating contest, and of course, the 3rd annual Zombie Crawl through downtown Cheyenne. Round out the night with a twirl (careful not to lose those loose limbs) across the dance floor at Nightmare Zombie Prom, or rock out to live music in the Depot plaza and inside the Historic Atlas Theater.
This year, Zombie FEST is thrilled (to death!) to welcome special guest actor Ken Foree, best known for his role as Peter in the 1978 classic “Dawn of the Dead.”

Thursday, September 19th, 7:30 p.m.:
“Midnight at The Last Night Cabaret*,” Atlas Theatre
Tickets are $10 at the door
This one-act play kicks off ZombieFEST weekend at The Atlas Theatre. It’s a humorous tale of a group of apocalypse survivors who are putting on a nightly cabaret act, as their cast slowly succumbs to the zombie plague! Tickets at the door are just $10.
(This dark comedy may not be appropriate for younger audience members.)
Friday September 20th
Dinner and a Movie with Ken Foree:
$20, limit of 100 tickets sold
This is your EXCLUSIVE chance to be meet and mingle with our special guest, KEN FOREE! Enjoy your meal while watching the original “Dawn of the Dead” on the big screen. You will be able to visit with Ken, hear his own unique perspective about the production, and what it was like to work with two young Hollywood unknowns, George Romero and Tom Savini, as they created a legend in horror and the zombie genre!
