Influx Magazine has been around since 1997. We were originally a freely distributed, full-color print magazine, but over the last few years have moved solely to the world of online e-zines.
We completely revamped the website and magazine and re-launched on May 6, 2013. We climbed from 21,000 readers to more than 100,000 readers by the end of June and continue to climb everyday! in less than a year we surpassed 1 million readers with ease!
Our staff is entirely volunteer based but we have a reputation nearly two decades strong in the business, and a steady following.
We are looking for people who love to watch movies, television, listen to music, enjoy the arts and write reviews.
We do like strong writers with a control of grammar and mechanics needing as little copyediting as possible. And, at least some knowledge of AP styling is preferred, but not necessary. We also need people who read closely, so if you ask how much we pay when we just told you it’s volunteer … well, you get the idea.
