It has just been announced by Skydance Productions, Annapurna Pictures and Paramount Pictures, they have teamed up to reboot at least one “TERMINATOR” movie, to be released by Paramount Pictures on June 26, 2015.
The all new Terminator will be numero uno in a trio of planned big budget summer movies, and will be produced by Megan Ellison and David Ellison. Dana Goldberg and Paul Schwake, executive producers. Laeta Kalorgridis (Avatar) and Patrick Lussier (Drive Angry) have been attached to writing the screenplay.
This is great news for die hard Terminator fans (not so with actual Die Hard fans of course), even though the last outing was less than well received by critics, but not so with the public, who went in droves to see Terminator 3: Rise of the Machines, with the sexy Kristanna Loken (T4 was not really an Arnie flick now was it?). I certainly enjoyed it. Arnie is also set to star but the ageing robot will surely need newer skin, for I’m not sure makeup can hide the added 30 years so easily. That’s how long ago it was, when Arnold Schwarzenegger first brought the metal killing machine to life in James Cameron’s The Terminator.
“I’ll be ba…” Get a new catch phrase Arnie! “No problemo.”
Nav Qateel.
