The legendary rock band will give a concert filled with beloved Beach Boys holiday songs from their classic “Christmas Album” and unforgettable Top 40 hits from more than 50 years on stage as “America’s Band.”
You can capsulate most pop music acts by reciting how many hits they’ve had and how many millions of albums they’ve sold. But these conventional measurements fall short when you’re assessing the impact of The Beach Boys. To be sure, this band has birthed a tor- rent of hit singles and sold albums by the tens of millions. But its greater significance lies in the fact that it changed the musical landscape so profoundly that every pop act since has been in its debt.
Happily for us all, The Beach Boys continue to create and perform with the same bold imagination and style that marked their explosive debut 50 years ago. And now in 2012, their 2003 Capitol Records release, Sounds of Summer (RIAA certified double platinum with over two million in sales and climbing), and it’s 2007 companion The Warmth of the Sun marks a resurgence in Beach Boys interest that has again rocked the world.

This year, come celebrate Christmas with America’s band, The Beach Boys, as they make their much anticipated Center debut. For more than five decades, The Beach Boys have been creating and performing their signature pop music. Songs from their chart-topping 1964 The Beach Boys’ Christmas Album will be part of every holiday playlist – and the concert – including such classics as “Little Saint Nick” and “The Man With All the Toys.” The Beach Boys are led by Mike Love and Bruce Johnston, who, along with Christian Love, Randell Kirsch, Tim Bonhomme, John Cowsill and Scott Totten, continue the legacy of the iconic band. (This tour will not feature Brian Wilson, Al Jardine or David Marks.)
