Cold: 13 Ways To Bleed On Stage

I was recently subjected to an overdone pop tart. You know the type. When you put the pop tart in an unfamiliar toaster you invariably burn it, thus it is overdone and unpalatable. That description can fit well with this album by Cold. Overproduced, overdramatic and as my good friend would say in an attempt to conclude any uncomfortable situation, “Uh…It’s Over.”
“13 Ways” sounds something like Creed getting together with Marilyn Manson with one exception. Unlike Manson this joke isn’t funny. To be fair though, if you’re into Tool, or Alice In Chains, you may actually like this. Though I would say stick with those bands, their okay at what they do even if I don’t agree with it. I just don’t see a need for another serious metal band especially one that tries to further blur that which separates goth-rock and metal.
