In this extended special feature we get a glimpse of things to come in season 4. David Benioff and David Weiss talk about the new season and how it will be better than the previous three. They claim that each episode will be powerful with no slowing down. It looks like Tyrion will have a bad time of things as his life is in peril in almost all the episodes, and with the likes of his sister, Cersei even condemning him. Interestingly, big brother Jaime is still close to Tyrian and is making an effort to stick up for him. At one point he says, “I’m guilty of being a dwarf!” with great conviction, and looks very run down during the scene. Peter Dinklage also mentions, “The Red Wedding is important to so many fans of the show and the books, but we pick up the pieces and top it.” We are also told that the end of this season sees more bloodshed than ever before.

We find out from the cast who their favorite characters are and they’re also asked if they think Joffrey has any redeeming qualities. It was extremely funny when Scotsman Rory McCann who plays Sandor The Hound, says in his broad Glaswegian accent, “Joffrey? Joffrey’s a wee prick.” I couldn’t have put it better myself!

Daenerys’ dragons are now very large and they appear to becoming a handful for her. She’s also facing trouble from her followers as they need a leader who understands them better. Jon Snow and Sam’s friendship is stronger than ever, and Joffrey’s wedding is one of the highlights of the season. Joffrey is also bitter towards his uncle Jaime, as witnessed during one of the scenes.

This video only touches on a small amount of the goings on in season 4 but what we do see looks as though it will outdo the last three.
