Apparently, Jennifer Lawrence was extremely worried about performing this song in the newly released The Hunger Games: Mockingjay – Part 1. After hearing how well the Oscar-winning actress handled singing ‘The Hanging Tree,’ I’m sure you’ll agree she had nothing to fear.

Lionsgate’s The Hunger Games: Mockingjay – Part 1 is breaking records in both the domestic and international market. It’s yet to open in China, where it could repeat the trend. Although Mockingjay – Part 1 isn’t as strong at the box office than the previous two Hunger Games installments, it’s shaping up to have the highest-grossing opening of 2014.
