“A continuation of the saga created by George Lucas set thirty years after Star Wars: Episode VI – Return of the Jedi”
Director: J.J. Abrams
Writer: J.J. Abrams, Lawrence Kasdan,
The first official glimpse of Star Wars Episode VII: The Force Awakens is finally here. The galaxy that was far, far away, is now only a year away, with its release due on 18 December 2015.
While returning cast-members Harrison Ford, Mark Hamill and Carrie Fisher are absent from the 88-second montage, we do get a first look at a few of the younger cast-members.
Set 30-years after Return of the Jedi, the teaser opens with British actor John Boyega racing across the desert in full Stormtrooper regalia minus the helmet.
