HBO have released photos of new cast members
As well as seeing some of the new cast in full wardrobe, that make up the princesses of Dorne, we also get to see what’s become of Myrcella Baratheon. We last saw Princess Myrcella being taken away by boat, after the newly-promoted Hand of the King Tyrion Lannister, sent his niece to Dorne as a hostage.
Princess Myrcella Baratheon:
**Princess Myrcella Baratheon is a recurring character in the first, second, and fifth seasons. She is portrayed by guest star Nell Tiger Free, taking over the role (starting in Season 5) from Aimee Richardson, who played the character in Seasons 1 and 2. Princess Myrcella is commonly thought to be the only daughter of King Robert Baratheon and Queen Cersei Lannister. Like her siblings, her real father is Jaime Lannister. Her younger brother Tommen Baratheon currently sits on the Iron Throne as the King of the Andals and the First Men. She has been sent to Dorne as part of a marriage pact with House Martell.
Princess Myrcella and Prince Trystane:
Nephew of The Red Viper, Prince Oberyn Martell, who we saw die horribly and “literally” at the hands of Ser Gregor Clegane, **Prince Trystane (Toby Sebastian) is a member of House Martell, the ruling house of Dorne. He is the youngest son of Prince Doran Martell, Lord of Sunspear and Prince of Dorne. Trystane was proposed as a potential marriage candidate for Princess Myrcella, by her uncle, Hand of the King Tyrion Lannister.
