We get into Tom Hardy’s Max Rockatansky, Charlize Theron’s Furiosa, Immortan Joe, Nux and the War Boys, the War Rig, the Citadel, the insane vehicles, the practical stunt work, the Riders of the Apocalypse feel of the entire movie, and why George Miller’s Wasteland seems completely ridiculous and completely believable at the same time. Is Furiosa actually the main character?
Does Max need to be the center of a Mad Max movie? Is Immortan Joe one of the great modern movie villains? And how does Fury Road stack up against Mad Max, The Road Warrior, Beyond Thunderdome, and Furiosa? We may disagree about the franchise. But Fury Road?
